The mission of the Covington County School District Technology Department is to support the overall district mission by providing technological and communications related guidance to support the students, faculty, staff, and administration of the Covington County School District with the utmost concern for creating an environment that is safe, secure, and focused on inquiry based learning through the use of technology in order to enable students to achieve academic Excellence.

Additionally, technology provides staff the tools needed to efficiently and effectively operate all District administrative and support requirements.  It is the vision of the Department to create an environment where students, teachers, and staff have safe, secure, and reliable access for all technology that fosters creativity, critical-thinking and higher learning.

Gifted Students of CCSD attended the World War II Museum and Audubon Zoo in New Orleans, LA. At the museum, they participated in a hands-on STEM activity and several other explorations. We then traveled to the zoo for a day of fun viewing and learning about the different animal species! "Special Thanks" to all parents who accompanied us.

2025 Comprehensive Needs Assessment

The Mississippi Department of Education released accountability ratings for the 2023- 2024 academic school year. 

Last school year, Covington County School District earned a "B" rating for the first time. We are pleased to announce CCSD has earned another  "B" rating for 2023- 2024. We congratulate our students, teachers, administrators and community for continuing success.
