👉 Federal Programs in Our District

The Covington County School District operates several federally funded programs designed to support student achievement, strengthen instruction, and provide equitable educational opportunities. These programs serve students, families, and educators across the district and are implemented in accordance with federal guidelines.

Title I, Part A

Title I provides supplemental academic support to schools with higher percentages of economically disadvantaged students. Funds are used to strengthen instruction, support struggling learners, and increase family engagement to improve student achievement.

Title II, Part A

Title II supports professional development for teachers and school leaders. The goal is to improve instructional quality and ensure every student has access to effective educators.

Title IV, Part A

Title IV supports student well-being and academic enrichment. Funds may be used for safe and healthy schools, technology integration, and programs that expand educational opportunities.

Title V – Rural Education (RLIS)

Title V provides additional funding to rural districts to support local academic priorities. These funds offer flexibility to address district-specific needs that enhance student learning.
